Information about the location, layout and furnishings of Villa Paulina.

Location:

Villa Paulina was built in 2007 and is situated in the tranquil new housing estate at Grote Berg. Due to the central location of Grote Berg on the island it is easy to travel to WestPoint, Hato (airport) Punda and Otrabanda, and several beautiful seaside bays. Click here for an illustration of the location. Also, there is a supermarket only 5km from the villa, where it is possible to buy nearly everything.

Layout:

The villa has been built in bungalow style; this means that everything is situated on the ground floor. It is a typical Antillean house with a front and back porch. Upon entry of the front door you will find a large sitting room, which leads to an open kitchen area, the scullery, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning and blinds to darken the room. There are 2 master bedrooms and two other bedrooms each with two single beds. The bathrooms have showers (with hot water), a lavatory and a sink. There are plenty of towels for the shower and the beach, as well as sheets and kitchen towels. The kitchen itself has been fully furnished with all utensils and equipment.

Furnishings:

The residence is completely furnished and equipped with all the comforts you might expect from a villa such as:

• A computer with an internet connection (free unlimited use) and the possibility to use a laptop with a wireless connection;
• A television with a DVD- player;
• A stereo installation with a cd-player;
• Landline phone connection (prepaid telefasil);
• Washing machine, ironing board and iron;
• 220 volt plug-in;
• Microwave oven, stove, oven, and a refrigerator with built in freezer.

From the kitchen you can access the back porch. The porch leads to the garden which has several comfortable chairs. These sitting places allow guests to sit in the sun, as well as in the shade. By using a small flight of stairs it is possible to enter the pool deck from the garden. This area is where the luxurious private swimming pool is located. There are several deck chairs and a sitting corner situated in the shade. One of the master bedrooms has outwards opening doors which oversee the garden.
